Along with her role as Head of GM Technology Core Engineering Integration Components, Pips is co-lead of the Credit Suisse LGBT and Ally network and the LGBT Ally Working group responsible for helping execute LGBT Ally related events, publications and communications to better promote the network and to foster a workplace environment that is open and inclusive for all regardless of their gender identity, gender expression or sexuality. As part of her diversity work, Pips regularly presents to large audiences both within the workplace and externally to articulate the importance of an ally program and highlight the importance of authenticity. Pips identifies as gender fluid spending half of her time as Phil and the other half as Pippa both at work and at home with her wife and children and works closely with Stonewall and OUTstanding, specifically on education around trans* and non-binary identities. She is an active collaborator with many other organisations, including the Trans*Formation group and Diversity Role Models and has produced articles and documentaries with leading organisations including the Financial Times and the BBC. Pips is highly active and visible outside the workplace being at the Vanguard of helping to promote a diverse and inclusive culture working to eradicate marginalisation and promote the importance of authenticity.
