Noel is a committed advocate for inclusion and has been driving D&I for over a decade. Through his work, Northern Trust has seen a significant increase in senior leader engagement with LGBT+ employees, has sponsored the Limerick Pride Festival and witnessed an increase in senior Irish Leaders mentoring LGBT+ individuals both within and outside of the organization. Noel is also Director and Chair of GOSSH (Gender Orientation, Sexual Health & HIV), a Board Member of the Limerick Chamber of Commerce and in March 2022 was appointed to the Governing Body of the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS). Noel chairs the inaugural Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committee of the university. Noel is passionate about giving back to the local and global, LGBT+ community and his work is a testament to that.
