KKR is a leading global investment firm with $491bn AUM across private equity, real assets and credit, with offices in 22 cities across four continents. Tim was Co-Chair of KKR’s Inclusion Network for two years, and continues to be involved in a firm-sponsored Employee Resource Group set up to provide resources, support, and a network for KKR’s LGBTQ+ community globally. He helped drive an initiative to reinforce KKR’s governance model on inclusion in 2022, and is bringing greater diversity to KKR’s investment committees. Tim mentors LGBTQ+ colleagues and others in the private equity community, and was instrumental in developing Pride events for the KKR community in London. KKR is pushing for greater representation on the boards of its portfolio companies, mandating two diverse board members for every company where KKR has control, with Tim playing an active role in the implementation of this in Europe. He currently sits on the board of a number of companies, including Upfield, Wella, and ERM. Tim is an active speaker at conferences on being an LGBTQ+ leader in his industry, and is involved in initiatives to get LGBTQ+ business students interested in private equity. He is married to Andrew, and they have two boys.
