Julie is the Global Co-Chair at CG Pride and is focused on expanding CG’s LGBT+ advocacy to the wider community. Within her organisation, she is key to driving an atmosphere of positive change. She has organised events for Pride, hosted virtual celebrations for LGBT+ history month, prolifically spoken up about coming out at work during Lesbian Visibility Week, and most recently brought UK Black Pride into conversation with CG’s internal communities-‘CG Pride’ and “Capital Associates of African Descent”. Externally, Julie is a major donor to OutRight Action International, a supporter of the Albert Kennedy Trust to combat LGBT+ youth homelessness, and she holds a seat on the leadership team of InterInvest which helps further LGBT+ interests across the investment industry. Julie is driven not just by her determination to provide the best investment solutions, but also a commitment to be seen, heard and included. It is through this passion that Julie drives inclusion in her role at Capital Group and beyond.
