Lara is a driving force for inclusion at Architech and has established sustainability and D&I as a strategic pillar guiding the growth of the company. Lara and the Architech leadership team prioritize pay and promotion equity for women, and have increased women in technical roles well above tech industry standards. Lara is the Founder and Executive Sponsor of Architech’s Inclusion Council, Architech’s Build a Better Future Program, Pride & Allies Committee and the Women@Architech Network. She has established key partnerships with Pride at Work Canada and Black Professionals in Tech Network to drive top-down awareness and safe conversation throughout the company. Alongside these internal initiatives, Lara is a member of Pride At Work Canada’s Thought Leadership advisory committee, providing recommendations on overall programming, educational and thought leadership initiatives. Among the many LGBT+ organizations that she supports, Lara and her partner are long-standing Leadership Council donors of The 519.
